Wow!! Steven has an army of fans in my country. I guess I'll check him out either in Madrid or Granada.

On a side note, Dizzy I'm not gonna miss it this time, watch out for my concert review for any of those shows.? Tongue

I emailed the Underworld in London as their website said that Hanoi Rocks was playing there on February 4th as opposed to Adler's Appetite.

They got back to me and said that Adler's Appetite are now playing the Underworld on Tuesday February 1st and Hanoi Rocks are now playing the Electric Ballroom on February 3rd

what was the gig like? setlist?

how big are the crowds? for some reason i'm under the impression they're quite popular in greece (!) but naturally i think this is relative, ie crowds of about 500 max?

ADLER'S APPETITE will be playing a benefit on January 6th at Cervantes Ballroom in Denver, CO. All proceeds from the door will go to the victims families of the tragic shooting in Ohio that claimed the life of "Dimebag" Darrell and three other innocent lives.

It's mentioned in the news archive for Monday 13th December http://www.hardradio.com/framenews.html

I may go to see them at the Underworld, London. Does anyone know if they`ll be playing there own material or covers - AFD, not sure if i really want to see them cover that - would be no different to any other cover band for me. I`ve ordered the EP so will see what its like, the samples sounded cool.

i think it's being advertised for the rio gig as the entire AFD set plus more. in classic rock there's an ad for the tour saying GNR Love/Hate and Faster Pussycat songs. So, presuming Brent Muscat IS on the tour (though i don't think he is now, i think robbie crane said something like he's not on this one but will join us for future ones) then it will be alot of covers of their previous bands, then the EP too. i don't see why they wouldn't play all the EP really. which would be cool, so i could see them play aerosmith!

feasibly the show could last a good 90mins really. sweet!

Brent is not on this tour.

I hope that the shows will be around 2 hours.

They'll play most of the EP, besides it's only 6 songs...

Apparently the Nottingham show supporting Hanoi Rocks did not happen :

ADLER'S APPETITE, the new band led by former GUNS N'
ROSES drummer Steven Adler, were forced to pull out of
their support slot to HANOI ROCKS in Nottingham, U.K.
after the wife of HANOI ROCKS guitarist Andy McCoy
objected to disparaging comments Adler made about her
in a recent interview.

Commented ADLER'S APPETITE guitarist Keri Kelli,
"Andy's wife didn't like Steven's comments so they
kindly asked us not to play and they would still pay
us, so that's what we did."

In an interview published last month on the
RockConfidential.com web site, Adler said of Andy
McCoy, "His wife ? if she's still his wife ? used to
be Izzy's [Stradlin, ex-GUNS N' ROSES] girlfriend back
in the day. She's the biggest cunt, slut, whore,
loser, piece of shit I've ever met in my life! After
they let me go from GN'R, Andy was living up the
street from me. We started writing together. He would
come down and I would say, 'Do not bring that goofy
wife of yours!' I'd be in the front yard and I'd see
him up the hill and I'd flip him off because he was
bringing her. One afternoon we were playing and I had
a locked gate. The wife and Erin Everly [Axl Rose's
ex-girlfriend] come over. Axl and Erin had got in a
fight. That's what really did it. This girl gave her
valium and some other stuff and kept telling me to
give her heroin. There is now way in hell I would ever
do anything to Erin, even sexually. The closest we
ever got was eating sushi in Studio City once. Three
guys came in with shotguns and robbed the place while
we were there. They took everybody's shit but ours!
I've always been a big fan of Michael Monroe and Andy
McCoy. Michael got to play on the 'Use Your Illusion'
stuff. Me, Slash, and Duff wrote the music. I only got
to play on 'Civil War'. We're doing that one live,
too."

i'm having a great time with the band, even though last night's gig didn't go so well (due to the promoter's stupidity, not the band's fault) I'll post a big update on Sunday or Monday.

Off for dinner with the guys and the second show...  yes

Tomorrow I'll have pics from the Athens show and the Parthenon (Acropolis).

Hopefully I'll have more pics from all the shows in the weekend.

Gee man, here is hoping that Adlers Appetit eventually makes its way to Canada.  Me and my GnR crew would definitely be there Smiley
