Tons of GNR being played on radio ????

anyone notice this, but my local radio rock station has been playing tons of gnr all day starting like couple weeks ago. Like all the popular songs bunch of different ones all day. They never ever done this for as long as I listened to them. They would just play the same 3 songs all day now its like almost 10 a day. Kind of weird seems like something is happening. All they usta play was KOHD, Civil War. Now its novem rain ycbm, dont cry estranged etc. list goes on.

One of my favorite stations here in phoenix has been playing a lot more GnR lately.  They even made a commercial that has a bunch of GnR songs in it and they say "Your station for GUNS N ROSES" then they launch into a GnR song.     I dont think this means anything or has anything to do with the new GNR releasing any material though.  Corporate probly just realized how popular GnR still are (greatest hits, VR).

GNR get tons of airplay around my areas (Dallas, OKC and Tulsa).  Mostly AFD stuff, but a lot of airplay nonetheless.

Funny you mention this because I have noticed the past few weeks on the radio GnR has been played more than usual. I'm in Indiana so maybe axl gets more play here... dunno.  I thought it was just me but maybe it is a trend.

It's the quickening... GnR style!

when "chinese democracy" is released I hope we will hear and watch massively the new singles EVERYWHERE, like back in the days. I really hope Axl will try to make it be a huge come-back, and not a small one.
I just hope a phenomenal success, like 20 million copies sold worldwide for the album (that's possible, Norah Jones did it last year, and she didn't even have a big promotion!), and a massive world tour, #1 singles, and videoclips everyday on MTV etc... just something BIG.

The only two songs from AFD not showing are Think About you & Anything Goes. Kinda strange "Since I don't have you" and "Ain't it fun" not amongst the most popular.

Here in the NY/NJ area they still don't play much GnR on any of the stations. VR gets heavy airplay but it's a rarity to hear GnR.

I live in central NJ. We get K-rock (which I have only heard play GNR like 3-4 times in my life) 104.3 once in a while will play GNR but it's far from standard. I do call in there and request "under my wheels" with axl, izzy, and slash. Only other "rock" stations we get are 105.5 and 106.3 which both suck. Any other stations in strong island (where I was born) that is where you're hearing GnR? Hopefully we get em down here but I am just missing them.

i listen to 98.5 "the bone" and they play gnr alot.. i hear at least one gnr song once out of every 2 times i'm in the car.. but i dont think it plays in new jersey tho.. cuz the same channel turns into a different channel sonce i drive past a certain point in the island.. its a very local station..
