I don't know what all you guys are worried about.  Just because Tommy says that he is booking more dates in January and February doesn't meen that CD will not come out in Februrary.  From my understanding, Tommy is done with all his work on the album, so he doesn't need to be with Axl when the cd drops.  But if they are going to film a video, they can do it in late Nov. or Dec.  The way I see it, this seems like a perfect scenerio...

Dec/Jan- single

Jan/Feb- Tommy does his thing

Feb- Tommy is finishing up, CD drops

March- they begin touring

Best case scenario........ We're dealing with Guns N' Roses here.... but I'm glad you're optimistic, that should last for a few years.

I agree that its not necessarily bad news, its just not what we were all hoping to hear.  We all wanted to hear him say something like, he's going to be busy with GNR for the next few months, or something like that.  But even if he is planning on being with GNR because the cd is about to be released, he wouldn't be able to talk about it.  Until there is an official announcement, he has to be vague.

I don't think Tommy will be confirming anything for axl anytime soon. Tommy is not Axl's PR guy... but besides that, I'd be surprised if Tommy even has Axl's phone number. From the comments the band has made it really sounds like they have to go through a middle man to talk to Axl. Remember, to everyone in the band they refer to GnR as "them" instead of "us".

Not very good news for NEW GNR fans.  I wish Jarmo asked Tommy if the new guys have practiced the UYI songs.  I wonder.  I would hate to think we'd never hear songs like dead Horse and Coma again.
