Me too! I hope it will be better than the first time they were on Leno because that performance wasn't quite top notch. I liked Letterman SO much better.  peace

Whew, what a performance.  I ran home from practice just in time to see Leno announce them.  Great show, although when I went to turn up the volume on the TV, I accidentally hit the channel up button and missed 5 seconds, no big deal though.  Great vocals by Weiland, Slash nailed the solo and the riff, Duff was rockin', Dave and Matt did well.  Very impressive performance.

Glad you informed me of this!? I'll be taping it.? ?Cool

I just came upon this thread a few minutes ago. I immediate tuned into Channel Four and sure enough caught Jay Leno beginning to announce the VR performance.

Overall a solid show - nothing mindblowing. I would have preferred if they had perfomed the song at the same pitch that they did in the album, cuz the lower picth made the song seem less aggressive than it is on the album.
I'll never get used to seeing the old GNR band lineup live on TV, a very special moment for us GNR fans, Im glad I still came upon it anywayz.

Yeah, kind of subdued, but they sounded great. I wish they would turn up the volume on Slash's guitar when they play on TV like that. You never seem to be able to hear him. That is my only complaint. Other than that they played and looked great out there.

It was good! Scott's vocals were a little weak, I thought but the other guys were awesome. DEFINITELY better than when they performed "Slither" on Leno.

Anyone ever think it was done on a talk show, and from hearing their lives shows and reading a ton of reviews it's obvious their live shows are sounding great.. As for leno if slash's amp isn't loud then what can you do, it's one song..

A good show to watch outside of concert was when they performed fall to pieces live on some german talk show,...

I enjoyed it.............the background looked neat and the whole thing sounded good.  Weiland pulled it off damn well!.
