Rockin' the cowbell since '79!!!

I don't know why, but for some reason Radiohead's "No Surprises" keeps playing in my head.  Not all slow like the original, but faster, more rockin'.  I can hear Axl wail on the lyrics, and I can even hum a beat for it that seems very GnR-ish.  This would be interesting to hear.  Plus, Axl is a fan of Radiohead, so I could see him do it.  Alright, back to the caves I go.

I think Axl's new voice would be able to pull of Tangerine by Led Zeppelin really well.  I would like to see that on there, would definitely be cool and hmm, something with more of a rock vibe to it by Zeppelin like maybe Ten Years Gone from Physical Graffiti.  I definitely think Guns N' Roses should do some zeppelin cover, cz they never have and I think Zeppelin r the kings of Rock, no better in my opinion.

A Zeppelin song ala- The Ocean.  Or perhaps something like Bohemiam Rhapsody by Queen.  Something where Axl can totally shine on the Piano, something he already excells at.

Definitely like the Since i've been loving you recommendation. Shit, I think they could rock the fuck out of that song. Either that Zep song or The Ocean, hearing them cover either of those would be badass.

Of course, it would have to be the song I most want GnR to cover:

"Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd

First of all they need a guitar player to handle the song.
One of the best solos of all time.

Another song I would love to hear Axl sing is "Alright Now" by Free.

How bout, uhm, Under My Wheels! Maybe, Megadeth's Peace Sells, But Whos Buying. Axl could kick ass on Peace Sells!! That is if he used his raspy voice, like on RNDTH or something.

Ok, I heard sylvester stallone on a late night show a while back talking about a new "Rocky" movie they are working on...

So I thought it would be perfect.... the ultimate comeback. Eye of the Tiger by GNR on the soundtrack would be crazy! I know that might sound cheesy but I was thinking of that when I heard about it....
