The vid for Civil War was just the performance from the Live Tokyo videos.

I feel 14 Years is a very underrated song and Estranged wasn't given a propper release, would have been a great single.

hmm def used to love her. And basically alot of stuff from TSI. Human being, raw power, hair of the dog, & Black Leather I think all would have been better choices than SIDHY which really failed to give an accurate view of what the album was.

I think TSI would have done alot better with something besides SIDHY, i think Down On The Farm , New Rose, or Raw Power would have been much better choices.

Ive seen the Live Era It's So Easy Video, but that was a wide release at the time. The orginal It's So Easy video I dont believe was ever released at all. I may be completely wrong, but wasnt it something to do with Erin Everly not wanting to be in the video after it was already recorded due to Axl's and her breakup. Someone around here probably knows the whole story. For me I would have loved to have Locomotive or Coma as a single.

I think that Estranged did not excel because of two main things: first of all, Gn'r were becoming less popular.  Nirvana, STP, Alice in Chains, and Pearl Jam had taken over by then.  Plus, it was another long, Gn'r ballad.  I personally like it as much as November Rain, but casual listeners do not want two almost ten-minute songs, imo.

I agree, the timing on the release of Estranged was bad. That song had the potential of being as big as Nov. Rain.
I would have liked to seen or heard a finished version of Crash Diet.

Estranged wasn't given a propper release,

what do you mean?

Civil War and Estranged were not world-wide releases

i see

I think Civil War was a worldwide release.

The Japanese & Austrilian single featured "Don't Damn Me, Back off Bitch & Slash-Interview" as other tracks.
In the UK they released "The Civil War EP" with "Garden of Eden, Dead Horse & Slash-Interview".
In the rest of europe & the US the single featured "Garde of Eden & Slash Interview" as other tracks.

i don't know about africa & S-America, but to me that's kinda worldwide.

i don't wanna seem like a teacher, just wanna share what i know.
cheers

I think a video for Breakdown could have been epic, same with locomotive.  The "original" version of the It's so easy video is available on the net, I really don't see what Axl was so paranoid about.  I know his lawyers said track down and destroy that video at all costs, but I really didn't see anything super damning to his case in that video.  Oh well
