i don't know wabout that, in my opinion Dave Grohl has written much more interesting guitar melodies than Kurt Cobain ever did.

new album!? wtf! I was just wondering the other day, when they would have a new album out.
Foo Fighters is a band I could see sticking together till they drop dead of old age, ala the Stones.

when is this new album due?

"The Pretender" is pretty good!!

in all honesty i like it better than most of the rock songs on In Your Honor.

i'm weird with Foo albums, every even numbered one i think its great and ever odd i think is just okay.

Just had a listen to the full version of The Pretender (thanks to CheapJon ) and I'm impressed.

It's pretty fuckin rocking and reminds me a bit of Monkey Wrench. Can't wait to get the album now!

It sucks that all Foo Fighters songs (except everlong) from live earth has been removed from youtube.  i never ripped the audio from the songs and IMO they were the best performers 

is there anyone who has it and can upload it for me? (only interrested in audio)

they've made some decent music since Colour and the Shape but nothing has really impressed me like that album did.
