I get a lot of deep, intense pleasure from SODOM

I don't know why people look at me funny when I say this. Haven't they heard of one of the best German thrash bands ever? Although I love Sodom's classics, I recently checked out some of their more recent albums. I found they are still going strong with 1 original member left!  Their latest album, M16, is great thrash with an excellent cover of Surfin' Bird as a finale. If you're new to the band, check out the album Better Off Dead first, as it is their most commercial album. After that, my favorites are Agent Orange and Persecution Mania, but M16 and Tapping the Vein are good too.

Be sure to bring some aspirin for your neck before you get into this, it will be sore.

I like their old stuff. But to be honest I've never really followed them.

I did hear they were still together on here about a year ago.

Well, I'm really surprised why they aren't getting any attention or recognition for continuing to make great music, but there are still tons of people out there expecting Metallica to put out a great record soon.
