Don't know if this has been done before, but what song do you think is the best lyrically, music aside? I would say probably Coma or Estranged, Don't Damn Me is pretty high up there, but I think Coma and Estranged take the crown...thoughts?

Coma hands down for me. When Axl goes off for the last 2 minutes of the song the lyrics are fucking amazing.

There are so many songs to pick and choose from, its hard to narrow it down to one. Its nearly impossble... November Rain, Sweet Child of Mine, Patience, Coma, and Estranged are all lyrical masterpieces beyond even the most spirited song writer's imagination but the one song that truly stood out to me was One in A million. The lyrics were so raw and spoke for so many individuals at the time, it was a breakthrough. "Just a small town white boy, just tryin to make ends meet", he is touchin base with so many people.... when I heard that phrase, I thought of myself. That song never made the radio due to some controversial lyrics, but if that song would have earned air play, it would have ended up being a classic in the eyes of many!

The whole AFD (minus Anything Goes, Think About You, Out ta Get Me and You're Crazy), plus DTJ, Bad Obsession, Coma, Locomotive, Estranged, Pretty Tied Up... there's a lot of great lyrics. My personal favourites (today) are Pretty Tied Up, WTTJ and Coma

Man Im going to have to break this down in a way lol..TOO HARD TO CHOOSE!
Estranged: Fits any bad situation you can ever be in....the lyrics are beautiful, that song is such a "hit close to home" type of song for everyone and anyone....just simply amazing. My favorite GnR song
Don't Cry: Ive had some really good cries to this song...and I dont cry hardly at all lol...The lyrics (particulary to the ORIGINAL version) are just breath-taking!
Sweet Child O' Mine: How can you go wrong with this song?
Breakdown: AWESOME lyrics!
The end of the Rocket Queen lyrics: The part where it starts "I see you standing" those Lyrics are some of the most heartfelt, true and prettiest lyrics Ive ever heard..
Basically all GnR songs are amazing...those are just some of the few that are outstanding!
