First CD was Much Music's Big Shiny Tunes 3...

First cassette?  I'm not entirely sure... If I had to guess, it would be Dookie.

offspring kicked ass back then but they became a novelty and have tried to make that their niche which sucks.

I absolutely love "genocide" off that Smash album, we use to cover that in a band i was in.

AFD was my first real album.
Before it, I only had few cassettes, recorded from cassette-to-cassette.

An LP with the "biggest hits" of 1984.

A cassette with the biggest hits of 1987.  It was called Now That's what I call Music...or something like that.

I think the first real album I ever owned was Michael Jackson's Thriller, also on cassette.

The first album I ever owned was Michael Jackson's "Thriller".  My mom bought it for me when I was five years old. We were at K-Mart, and I had to choose between a barbie or "Thriller".
