I was watching Nelly perform on a tv show promoting his two new albums that will be coming out on the same day, "Suit" & "sweat"

His first single he's trying to get into the RB style of music and actually try singing like Usher, and boy the two different times I have heard him sing this song, it sounds bad. It sounds like he is just talking not singing. I think he needs to stick to the rapping'.

I was thinking about the GN'R connection too!  I hate that new single, though.  What's it called - "My Place"?  It's just like N'Stync or something, which is always what Nelly has been closer to anyway.  And another lame video where two rappers relax in a mansion filled with beautiful women.  Yeah, that's hardcore.

He hasn't, I'm just saying if I'm gonna listen to rap, I prefer harder hitting stuff.  Just my personal opinion, it doesn't have to mean anything to anyone else.

Anyone remember when Rap was a way of the poor and the intercity kids to express themselfs and the hardships of life they have faced?


Now they are dancing with hoes bragging about all the cars, money, whores, houses they have and how much better stuff they have then us. Atleast back in the day it had a purpose, now its like taunting us.
