If your at all into jamming/improvisational music these are great shows to try to catch.  I know buckets no longer with the band but as far as can be told brain still is.  This time they actually have an album to support so it may be more structured then the previous shows that were totally unrehearsed.  you can checkout http://www.c2b3.com if you want to check out clips and the tourdates.

Every time we see one of these side project tour schedules they seem to end closer and closer to the end of the year.  Now Brain is gone till 11/7.  Anyone still think November is the month?  If so, you're crazy.

seems unlikely. Only thing is they might release it at the end of NOv. and not tour right away. Maybe they release it and begin their touring sometime in JAn.

Otherwise we arent going to be getting the album until.....

I've got a recording of one of their performances...If you enjoy getting your head blown clear off your shoulders, I highly recommend making this a night out.  I'd like to maybe organize a NY meet-up, but I'm not quite sure if I can get there...From what I remember, Roseland isn't wheelchair accessible, and I dunno if they've got a rear entrance or freight elevator...I'm going to call first thing tomorrow and find out....

I don't think we will ever see cd, and if we do, it will more than likely be a major dissapointment. Undecided i'm just not very optomistic at all anymore.

And why exactly can't a band member be touring when CD is released?

If we don't get it in Nov/Dec we aren't getting it next year until at least May. God forbid the thing ever comes out it will be one of the bigger releases of the year, and they aren't going waste it any time in the first quarter post Christmas retail season. Most of the big releases for the year arrive in late may/early June...or Late November to capitalize on Christmas.

Exactly, and also why can?t they release the CD pre-Xmas and start a tour from, say, New Year's Eve?

Damn, I?m not crazy enough. I already voted for holy December. Undecided

You all are forgetting one important tidbit.

Brain may VERY well be out of GN'R.

Just because we are led to think he's still a member.........well, we also debated BH's tenure too.

Expect a statement from Axl saying that the same info about Brain......that's my theory.

That's pretty much what doomed the '02 tour, a false sense of status....

The downfall of 2002 was that they didnt have an album. As ive said a million times. They should have done a qucik big city only tour. Get their feet wet. SHow the new lineup. Gel as a band. Get out of the studio. And it would have been positive because the major cities would have sold well. Instead they go to east bumblefuck and play a setlist of old material.

Next go around will be much more positive and productive.

BH isn't necessarily out. The word from management was that he is still under contract. I would bet that axl and managment talked to him and imparted the wisdom that when this whole project sees the light of day, it will be bigger than anything bucket has ever done before. He must come back and claim the rewards. I am hopeful that there will be no more buckethead dates after the beginning of november. I wouldn't expect a tour til after the album drops anyway.

The downfall of 2002 was that they didnt have an album.

A false sense of status led them to believe they could do an arena tour with nothing to promote.
