I'm a llama!

« on: August 17, 2004, 06:44:47 AM »

Anyone heard it? It's going to be released in August 23rd, but I got a promo copy yesterday. I've listened it couple of times and really like it. It's more in the spirit of Experience and Music For the Jilted Generation, than Fat Of The Land. A bit more dance-oriented than FOTL.

I haven't heard it yet but I heard "Shoot Down" from the cd. I think it's great, but maybe that's because I'm a huge Liam Gallagher fan.

I used to be big fan of them. Saw them in a nightclub maybe 8 yrs ago...danced all night..Too many drugs to remember all that well though..... Tongue

If the new album is good I may pick up....

What you think? ?Invaders Must Die?

I love it and it's back to their roots. peace
It lacks the loud el-guitars, louder real drums and Maxims voice on top of it imo.

Yeah, reminds me of the two first albums.

With the two singers Liam should skip the data-voices tho, imagine a little bit of Maxim over it Shocked

New interview about new album:

...it?s an attack on these mindless fucking jokers that arrive in their Learjets, pull a USB stick out of their pockets, plug it in and wave their hands in the air to a pre-programmed mix.

Rob Holliday who handles live guitars for The Prodigy also played with GnR (studio time) back in early 2000's (2001/2/3 I think).  Axl was a fan of his band Sulpher and got him over to play on some tracks.
