What is it like - more like a heavy metal SATD feel or a more Poison kinda feel?

Ive got a backlog of albums I wanna get -
Motley - SATD, TOP
Faster Pussycat - Faster Pussycat
LA Guns - Cocked And Loaded
Beastie Boys CD (Not sure which one to get yet)

Shout At The Devil is heavier than Theatre of Pain, Theatre is more chilled very good to relax to with the song 'Home Sweet Home' which i heard inspired Axl a bit with November Rain i think not quite sure while Shout At The Devil has catchy songs like 'Ten Seconds To Love', 'Looks That Kill', 'Helter Skelter', 'Too Young Too Fall In Love' and many other i recommend both but would pick up Shout At The Devil first

I tried to remember the exact year all the albums were released, but my memory is so clogged, and I didn't feel like dragging all my tapes & cds out.  Oh well, I guess that's what I get for being lazy.
BTW, thank you for correcting me Dizzy. Smiley

I'm not a massive maiden fan (though I am seeing them live next month), so I have not yet heard those albums.

Come to think of it I nominate 'MAchina 2: The friends and enemies of moderfn music' (smashing pumpkins) for 2000.
