Thanx, I have already read that interview but it was a very good interview about Izzy's leaving. I could understand Izzy for his decision. He's a true rocker cos he is doing it for the fun not for the money.

This does also explain why Axl didnt want Slash and co. on the "ship" anymore.

You cant work with people who is drunk or high all the time....

Then again, it was a low move from Axl with the money thing about getting a smaller paycheck to Izzy...

As much as I hate the fact he left cause I think that sparked the eventual breakup of the band, I empathize. I mean 3 of your friends are apparently killing themselves right in front of you (ever have that friend who starts getting wasted all day everyday? that times 3) and your other friend all of a sudden is trying to get u to sign a contract saying you're not that important. Fuck that I woulda walked too.

Actually, Izzy is remembering correctly.  If you guys recall, they recorded all of The Spaghetti Incident with Izzy.  So they actually did record three full albums during the UYI sessions, but they only released two in 1991.  Izzy's memory is a little foggy but the details are there!  Izzy's parts were re-recorded by Gilby for the TSI release.

I don't think they recorded all of "TSI?" with Izzy.

They probabaly added some tracks later when Gilby had joined. For example I think Since I Don't Have You was done later.
