#1 Shocking Moment in MTV VMA history.. that's great and all.. but what's this thing about reuniting?  hihi

1. Shock and Awe (2002)
Guns N' Roses stunned a sea of fans by reuniting on stage in one of the greatest moments in MTV history. Performing a monstrous medley including "Paradise City" and "Welcome to the Jungle," the band served up a stellar performance to satisfy every fan's decade-old appetite for destruction.

Thanks 2 those who went 2 Mustang Harry's on May 12th. That made my first concert experience something I'll never forget. Never did I feel like I fit in anywhere as much as I did amongst you strangers

It's weird that they gave it a favorable review too. GRRROWWGG.

Top 10 MTV VMA performances:

7. November Reign (1992)
A decade before Eminem made a similar move, Axl Rose shook his stigma as a hardcore homophobe by quietly putting together a duet with the always open-minded Elton John. "November Rain" never sounded so sweet.

Hey, it WAS a shocking reunion. I never thought Finck was coming back after he left to tour with NIN either!

The reunion aspect they are referring to is probably the fact that Axl reunited enough pieces of his mind to be able to come out and perform.

Axl himself mentioned this during the abborted tour...

do you really think the people at MTV noticed?
they don't give a fuck about music, it's all money.
if it even crossed their minds at all, they probably thought Buckethead was Slash...and they have probably never known who anyone else in the band was.
