I know that it's been said that The Blues and Madagascar are probably not on the album

It's been like two years...Axl just said at the London show that the new songs they were playing wouldn't be released as singles and that the band had 10 extra songs besides the album itself...and people still think he meant the songs they played won't be on the album and there will be a bonus disc. It just means what he said: Chinese Democracy, The Blues, Madagascar, etc. won't be released as singles, but they will very likely be on the album.

Hello again, to all who remember me. It's been a while: these boards are keen now! Congrats Jarmo...

Anyways, I'd given up entirely on Chinese Democracy ever being released - this has somewhat perked my hopes up. I also got rather worried by earlier posts here about The Blues and Madagascar not being on the album: thanks to Will for clarifying this.

Why?

And what are some song titles that hold more weight for you? TWAT (There Was a Time)?

(Or am I missing something...

These are the songs we know exist:

The Blues, Chinese Democracy (Freese/Rose), Madagascar, Rhiad & The Bedouins, Silk Worms (Pittman/Reed), Catcher In The Rye, Oklahoma, I.R.S, Twat, Prostitute (a working title), Oh My God (Huge/Reed/Rose)

And probably: Seven, Leave Me Alone, General, Thyme

I don't think it has been mentioned in any articles or news reports about Chinese Democracy.

But it's possible it'll be on there.

If I remember correctly, the song has been around since the early 90s?

Surely they won't put Oh My God on the album?

Firstly, it's not very good. Secondly, isn't it just too long since we've heard it to put it on an album...?

They may, if only to justify Axl's claim that it was more of a demo than a finished track the first time around.

This thread could have been dated in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, or 2003. Why should we believe it now?

Seems like everyone believe Oh my god isn't goin' to be on the album..
I really hope it will- it is great!
Have anyone on this board heard I.R.S?
There must be someone who taped the show when it was played Huh

Then that leaves us with only 1 choice... kidnap eddie trunk and/or mike piazza and make them talk!
