Hey all,
Metal Sludge just updated their "Exposed" section on GN'R with a pic of Axl in a band called Rapidfire. I never even knew he was in a band called Rapidfire to begin with, but oh well, here's the link:

http://www.metalsludge.tv/main/index.php?module=subjects&func=viewpage&pageid=487

Also, at the bottom of the page, it says this:

"*Fun fact: Kevin Lawerence, who also played in Rapidfire with Axl, was the first to register the domain piss.com, and he still owns it to this day! Now why didn't we think of that?"

And they say that you don't learn something new everyday!  hihi

I never knew that either!  And I've never seen an actual pic of BH until now.  I like those GNR flyers, they look cool - no Photoshop back then  hihi

Thanks for the link.

To be fair, not many of those bands lasted long before they morphed into HR. Also on the BH thing: " He was taught guitar by Mr. Big's Paul Gilbert! No wonder he wears a KFB bucket to hide his face!"  rofl rofl

Actually though, if Gilbert taught someone as good as BH, then doesnt that actually speak highly of him?

This is slightly off topic, but they have a separate Exposed section for Slash too:

http://www.metalsludge.tv/main/index.php?module=subjects&func=viewpage&pageid=513

Its nothing too major, but he does look like he's wearing eyeliner in the one pic.  Grin

A glammed out Slash, who knew?  hihi

Cool stuff indeed.

Take a look at this:

Kevin:
You can sum up my good friend Kevin Lawrence in the four letter domain PISS.com. No nickname here. You get what you get. Kevin registered PISS.com in 1996 as a joke. When Network Solutions denied the registration he was determined to appeal it. He soon enlightened a supervisor to the concept of freedom of speech. Needless to say the supervisor allowed it. He worked in the Ad Specialty business designing the promotions for Hard Rock Cafe, Sony pictures, Virgin Records as well as many others. The domain sat around collecting dust until Python Communications called and suggested that he put up a bannerfarm. Soon the type in traffic, and therefore the cash started rolling in.
He quickly turned it into a paysite and started the Nastybucks Webmasters Program. Kevin was born in New York, but spent most of his life in Santa Monica California. As a teenager he played in a rock band called Rapidfire with Axl Rose, before Axl started Hollywood Rose and then Guns 'n' Roses. Along with running PISS.com, Kevin is currently re-mixing the never before heard, first studio recordings of Rapidfire which feature a young Axl Rose for TheAxlTapes.com.Kevin is about as straight a shooter as they come. No bullshit here. "I try to keep my head above the shit. My reputation and my word is all I have." Kevin is easy to deal with, and easy to get in touch with. I consider him a friend as well as a great person to work with.

I could go for some more Old Axl demos as long as they dont have to include two extra mixes of each song and charge me for them.

How old is BH?

Ive seen that Buckethead picture so many times.  I just wish he would come back he's such a great guitarist, one of the best of 2004 according to Guitar World.  I just wish I could find an updated picture of the ole Bucket man.
