Who?

« Reply #4 on: August 07, 2004, 10:52:56 AM »

1. Angie
2. Get Off Of My Cloud
3. Jumpin' Jack Flash
4. Sympathy For The Devil
5. Satisfaction [I Can't Get No]

All class songs Angie i feel is a standout great emotion attached to it.  I always think Get Off Of My Cloud was a great way to say fuck off without sorrying shows a bit more thought going into things great tune to.  The other 3 choices are obvious ones i suppose but they are good all round songs Sympathy For The Devil though is far superior live the studio version isn't a patch on it and in my opinion not even close to Guns N' Roses cover of it.

To be honest, I?m not a big stoner. Still I can name some great classics like,

GIMME SHELTER Embarrassed
FOOL TO CRY? Embarrassed crying
Paint it black Embarrassed
DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO (HEARTBREAKER) headbanger
RUBY TUESDAY
19th Nervous Breakdown
Emotional Rescue
Can You Hear the Music?

If you haven?t heard any of these songs yet, they?re must.
They are super so good as to embarrass me sometimes.

Oh, and "Dancing With Mr. D" Embarrassed

I only have 3 of their albums, but I love so many of 'em.

Album - Let it bleed.  (I think UYI 2 was really influenced by this album).
You Can't Always Get What You Want
Gimme Shelter
Honky tonk women is a funny song.

Album - Beggar's Banquet.
Sympathy for the Devil  (but I like GNR's version just as much)
Stray Cat Blues  Cool
Salt of the Earth

Album - Sticky Fingers.
Brown Sugar
Dead Flowers   Smiley
Can't You Hear Me Knocking
Wild Horses

And other songs I've heard in movies and on the radio - It's only rock n roll, Satisfaction, Ruby Tuesday....the list goes on.  Smiley

What does Freddy Mercury have to do with AC/DC???

Why are you reading this?

« Reply #17 on: October 05, 2004, 04:36:33 PM »

Great news. However, it's propably fairto bet that the album will be completely overshadowed by the mega tour that will probably accompany it  -even if they can pull of a collection of songs to rival 'Sticky fingers' or 'Let it Bleed'.
