Has Tori Amos ever commented on GN'R or Axl? Just curious. It'd be cool if they did a song together.

Well, Matt Sorum used to be in a band with Tori Amos. I think it was called, "Tori Kan't Reed" or something like that. But, I've never heard her mention GN'R or Axl.? It would be interesting if she did a song with GN'R.

Y Kant Tori Read.

It's an interesting topic (at least for me), 'cause Axl and Tori are my all time favourite singers, and it would have been perfect if the two had ever worked together. On the other hand I have some memories about a possible recording in years ago, when Tori was in Germany, so was Axl, and Tori approached him to record a song together. As far as I know the plan didn't realize. Maybe I don't remember correctly, and it wasn't Tori but another female singer.

Yeah, Axl and Tori should tour together. They could both sit behind a grand piano and sing really morose ballads for four hours straight. The tour could be called "An evening with Axl and Tori: songs of deppresion and regret."

I'm just kidding, those are two of my favorite artists.

interesting to see that other people here love Tori Amos as well. Definitely wouldn't have expected that. She is my all-time favorite.
But, from what i know of her and her career, there was ever anything about her and Axl collaberating. Tori doesn't really collaberate much. She did something with Trent Reznor once (a long time ago) but i am not aware of any other musicians making contributions on her album...
She may be a little too fem for Axl. Tori sings about real female shit.  hihi It may be a bit much for even the most in-touch man.

Is she as bad (er.. good) as Sarah McLaughlan (sp)?  There was this girl in college who would blast that music down the hallway and you felt like you were being injected with estrogen and literally feel the boobs growing on you.

Anyway, I'd like to see Axl collaborate with piano people too.  Didnt he say he 'liked the new Fiona Apple cd"?

she blows Sarah M. out of the water, but i can see how you wouldn't like that kind of music. Its VERY female. but she and Axl would be a pretty intense collaboration. all that red hair.  hihi

what??!! when was this? i've never heard anything about this, and to be honest, i can't really see her doing that. but i can also see her not being too jazzed on Axl IF she were to believe the abuse rumors.

I think it would be awesome if they did something together.  I've come to enjoy Tori Amos a whole lot through my female friends.   While her music is really feminine, it's also extremely intense and beautiful.  Her song, "Me and a Gun", is simply incredible, and she does it all with her voice.  They both seem to like piano a lot, so it'd be a good fit.   ok
