I think Geffen will release a statement saying that CD will be out,I don't think they will remaster anything yet.

If Geffen/Sanctuary wanted to release a 2001/2002 dvd,could they actually release it or would it need Axl's permission?

It depends on what kind of contract they have with GnR, if they have GnR under contract for a DVD then I bet they could. They didnt need permission to release the Greatest Hits
