I just read somewhere that during a tour that Faith no more shared with Guns, mike was supposedly talking smack about Guns and had to apologize to axl's face? uh, does anyone know the dish about this?
Searching 'bout on old t'internet i found this which i found amusing, it's a limited edition part of a Faith No More bootleg, even though plenty of copies of the CD were available this was only supposedly avaiable with 10 copies; Translated as I Vomit In The Asshole Of Axl Rose hihi

Shocked Shocked Shocked wow Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

 thats funny as, dude hihi
wonder if Patton wrote it.

nice one ok

Actually I prefer the We Care A Lot Album to Introduce Yourself.  We Care A Lot had "As The Worm Turns" on it!

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000007U26/qid=1097332567/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-8282199-2269457?v=glance&s=music

I love that song too. I remember seeing that a long long time ago on a sat morning video show......... Tongue

Argh, the Chuck version of As the Worm Turns is horrible!

Patton's version is genius though.

Aye, so it be true.

"Album of the Year"
Is good, but "King for a Day,
Fool for a Lifetime"

Is criminally
Underrated by people.
There's some great rock there

But it also takes
Inspiration from Frazer's
Famed "The Golden Bough"

An interesting
Sociological text
Of myth and science.

Mike's vocals are so
Genuine and quite heartfelt
And, of course, unique.

Yeah it's a cracking album.  I guess it get's bad press cos there are no songs that shout out hit single.  The Last To Know is one of the top tunes on there, nothing beats The Gentle Art of Making Enemies though, rocking track, and i love the vocals on that.

Its a good album but not as cohesive as other FNM efforts

Angel Dust is a masterpiece IMO

I just had to bump this thread in praise of Lovage and 'Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By' ----> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_to_Make_Love_to_Your_Old_Lady_By

Awesome lyrics and quality music, I'm getting a bit of DJ Shadow vibe off of this. Definitely a must for any Patton fans!

Wikipedia says they might be coming out with a new album soon, that's brilliant if it's true...

I'm with you on that.  Angle Dust will always be, for me, *the* FNM album.
