Dizzy ends his tour at the end of october, so I don't see them touring in november right away, considering the band hasn't rehearsed in probably more than a year...

If I were in Axl's shoes, which im obviously not, I'd get the band together and play a one off gig in a hollywood club, and at the end of the show anounce the release date and when the european tour will start. Axl would get huge press if he came out and did this.

Is that right? Must be a pretty silent ball then...besides rumours and "the album is almost finished" I don't see any signs. I reckon some behind the scenes stuff is going on, but that CD is no UFO, it has to land in a CD production factory somewhere. I have the feeling that's when we'll know something happens, because that will be basically the end of it, no turning back, and I'm pretty sure some employees will be more than trhilled to share the fact that they've actually seen the CD in their factory.
Until then, I just keep my fingers crossed.

Yeah it would be kind of cool to hear Axl and GnR just showed up and played.

I think its such a "Huge" ball that when it starting moving a little it would be notice. When the CD is done and getting ready for print, or a Euro Tour, or a video shoot, or possible singles, I would think there would be 100's of people in on it and with the Internet Age I cant see this "ball" rolling behind the scene without going noticed for too long

it has nothing to do directly with the release of the album. i hope that with the confirmation of this event it means that chinese democracy will be released around the same time.
i can't say anything about this since i have many interests in that event, and if i open my mouth i can be easily identified and fucked.
i just wanted to share with you my excitement, nothing more.
just take as it his. things are moving. i think it's best for a gn'r fan to know about it than coming here and read a bunch of stuff on how axl isn't doing anything.
