Yeah I always thought Vinyl sounded better than CDs.
My favorite Vinyl I own is The Rolling Stones- Some Girls, with the original faces.

I have about 100 albums on vinyl, too many to name.
I also have loads of 12", 7", 10". About 50 Guns N Roses if I remember rightly. About 20 Iron Maiden, and about 10 Metallica and around 20 of other bands. I've only added to my collection once in the last two years, but as soon as I get a vinyl player and remember how great it sounds, I'll start collecting bits and pieces again.

Is it really that noticable? Can someone "describe" the sound without saying "its just cooler"?

my ears sense that there is a richness in certain frequencies that transfer poorly to CD...particularly the sounds just below the voice range and also the higher frequencies...80's vinyl is excellent for sound....also old 78rpm records used to have a great bassier sound because of their heavy weight...i have a few 50's r'n'r records and they sounded far superior to the CD versions... if you could transfer sweet child to one of these 78's and play them on a 70's quadrophonic stereo you will probably shit yourself listening to how great the sound is...but that will never happen
maybe you just have to listen closer to hear the differences

Chris Misfit gave me the beauty of Vinyl, i never cared for it before meeting that cunt.
Now i have an LP player and my dad gave me all his old LP's bout 100 or so, including some Maiden and Zeppelin, Motorhead and Motley Crue.
I'm also waiting to get my hands on my uncles old records, he was a Metal/Rocker like me and has loads of great Metal, Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies, Megadeth, Ozzy, Sabbath, Faith No More.
Ooooo, i canny wait, i love how long it takes to take outta the sleeve and play it, theres a whole ritual to throwing on an LP and we all have a different way to do it.
Fucking love Vinyl!

I dont own any Vinyl but certainly it has better sound than the CDs, thats why artists like Cradle Of Filth still release their albums in that format.

If you go on eBay, it's amazing how expensive GN'R's vinyl records are. ESPECIALLY the banned AFD sleeve.

I have only Gn'R promos and bootlegs + AFD (banned cover), UYI 1 and Spaghetti.. But I really think that vinyl sounds better than CD
Just waiting for my dad to die so I can take all his vinyls.. ummm.. just kidding
Edit. I saw the banned AFD for 6,99? in Music Hunter today.. so just keep looking and you'll find it with a nice price.
