There is some activity going on between Guns n'roses and Clear Channel regarding the cancelled US tour from 2002. I have heard two different stories, one regards the general cancellation of the tour, the other concerns the Philly gig. For legal reasons I will not say anything else but I think you can guess.

There is strong information though to suggest that Guns n'roses have a grandiose plan up their sleeve to make up for the disappointment caused by the Philly incident. I am not sure what it is though. No US dates are planned

I have been told that CD is more likely to appear in early December although November is still a possibility.

This is not much different from the November rumour but it is good information. It is Axl dependent but he is being pressured this time (that is rumour)

If band member solo dates appear for November onwards then you know Axl has pushed the release back further

Guns n'roses will still be returning to Europe first before the US

Some promoters in Europe are still on hold after the Euro summer tour was cancelled

If they push it back till December that means they want to give Tommy and Dizzy a little break before they go on the promotional jaunt and or tour......

I think December is more realistic because it allows time for tommy and dizzy. A decmber release would mean we would get the single sometime in NOv. Also gives them time to shoot the video.....

WHo knows. Just proceed with caution. If it happens we will be the first to know about it....The upcoming month will be very interesting....

they are just basing shit on rumors we've already heard, cause if they are wronga bout december or november they have their scape goat in axl *he decided to push it back* etc

and i think its pretty safe to say they will tour overseas first

so really its not like they have inside info

they conveniently cant say anything which is typical

Cautious as I am, it must be noted that the rumourboard admin was actually first to report the November target before BTM, and before any internet rumours.

So, despite nothing conclusive showing he knows things/has sources, I'm still leaning towards believing him.

Also, he seems to think some sort of occurence with regards GNR will happen in the next week or two. Should be interesting to see if he is right. Very interesting.

I hope they do something for Philly, that would be awesome.

Yes, the infromation is all very vague, and soemwhat repetitive, but I repost it here only for the sake of discussion, if only b/c the guy did mention the November rumor prior to anyone else. We've seen many classic, really good bullshitters (PURE) in the past, so who knows?

Well, it's easy to say "it's all vague and repetitive" but seen as he had the November thing first and then it starts popping up everywhere, then I actually tend to believe him. There's no reason to doubt him so far.

This thing about something happening in the next couple of weeks will be a good test. Give the guy a chance.

Also, if he is bullshitting, then he's done a fucking amazing job seen as in all this time nobody has tripped him up yet. Everyone makes a mistake sooner or later. He hasn't yet.

Don't get me wrong Funker, I'd like to believe him, and he got the November thing, I'll give him that...but back in 02, alot of people had the VMA appearence right and then spewed alot of BS after that...I'm hoping and thinking this guy is a tad more credible, but in the GNR rumor world ya never really know....Oh well, if it isn't out in November that's just more cash for the nudie bar right?
