Richard Fortus, the phenomenon

« on: July 22, 2004, 07:40:47 AM »

read on mygnrforum, a guy said he spoke to Brain:

"I tell him how i love his work with primus and what ive heard from him with GNR...he laughed and said "Primus is good"...and stayed away from gnr so just in case i asked if he was still in gnr, and he said "as long as they pay me," and we both shared a laugh"

and he laughed...what a shame. He really doesn't give a shit about GN'R does he?  Roll Eyes

Of course he's there for the money.......why the fuck wouldn't he be?

I'm sorry to say this Nesquick and maybe I'm wrong but your posts lately, always seem to be about creating some sort of negative buzz.

Like this one. Do you really think Brain is in it for the money???
Money really is not that high on the list of priorities for high profile muscisians like him.

We don't get a lot of possitive things already so why try and create more negativism?

Asking questions to get people thinking is a good thing, but I'd like to see you asking more positive ones.

Thanks!

Bests,

What's wrong with being an entertainer and liking the pay? hihi

If he sits down and plays for Axl that's all he is obligated to do...works for me.

Did you hear Matt Sorum's comments on the BTM?

He thought he had signed up for a bad rock n' roll band and instead he had to play a song like November Rain.  Roll Eyes

Why do you think he stuck around if GN'R wasn't as "bad" as he had hoped?

I hope the band members are interested in more than just the money. At least they don't have to watch out for dancers etc while on stage.  hihi

"What's with the piano?" Roll Eyes Yeah GN'R sucks so bad... Tongue

And no, I don't think Brain is in it for the money. Those guys have the dream job: they recorded [are recording] one of the most anticipated rock albums ever, they have lots of free time and can play concerts whenever they want with whoever they want. I don't see why they would leave. Once GN'R starts back again, they will be back and run a great show.

I have a novel idea, let's start a bunch of negative posts, that are total bullshit, and then in the off chance that Axl or any of the other guys reads there "fans" message boards, they can see how much we appreciate them.  Wow, maybe all these rumor mill creator's could find a nice hig cliff and pretend they can fly.  Way too much negativity, If I were in GNR, and read all this shit, I'd sit on the CD too.
Keep the faith my GNR brethren, there are some of us who still have faith.
Peace

Most male musicians will say they got started in the business for 2 reason:

Girls and money.

Whether they stay in it for that is up to the individual, beyond that, who the hell knows?

Speculating here, with the long periods of incactivity (touring), lack of release date and general low opinion (industry and public) of Axl
at this point in time, an educated guess would say "the money" is a
huge factor to stick around.  I doubt it's the only factor, but a major factor for sure.

I would say the Money is a  huge factor. not to mention if he is on CD, that will boost his career, instead of being refered to as the primus drummer, he'll be refered to as the GnR Drummer, not to mention the FREE SEX from female groupies/fans.

Afteral Matt Sorum said he's still banging 18 year olds because of his GnR Days.

We have no idea how, when and if they are getting paid. Maybe they stay because they actually know whats going on. Just because they say things that dont add up when asked about GNR doesnt mean they know jack shit. It could be a bluff. Who knows.

And this is all coming from a fake encounter

Who knows what the fuck is going on, all we can talk about is conjecture, who knows if this person isn't just goin for some attention, and who really gives a fuck what they're in it for as long as they're in it right?  So, this is a pretty lame post.
