www.gnrinfo.tk claims 4 times

06.04.91 - Richfield Coliseum, Richfield, OH
02.19.92 - Toyko Dome, Tokyo, Japan
04.09.92 - Rosemont Horizon, Rosemont, IL

unsure of the 4th time...

the 4th time was most probably this one - the Live Era version is believed to be from this show.

04.10.93 - Omaha Civic Auditorium, Omaha, NE
opening act: Blind Melon
set: It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Live And Let Die, Attitude, The Garden, Welcome To The Jungle, Coma, Yesterdays, Double Talkin' Jive, You Ain't The First, You're Crazy, Used To Love Her, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Patience, Piano Solo, November Rain, Drum Solo, You Could Be Mine, Guitar Solo, Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City
audio/video recording?: no
notes: This setlist is possibly inaccurate in terms of order. The crowd was not very receptive to Blind Melon, prompting Shannon Hoon to point to the front row and say “If you people don’t shut up, we will be here for 45 more fucking minutes!” GN’R took stage at about 10:30 p.m. and played until about 1 a.m. At some point during GN’R’s set, Axl picks up a condom and says "I found a condom." There is some debate whether or not 'Coma' was played at this show; it most likely was.

Yeah, the Live Era version is a fucking monster. ?It's insanely good. ?I love it.

I'll have to disagree with you on that one. ?It's good in places but some parts, particularly towards the finale, are a bit messy. ?Axl's struggles to keep up.

The vocals are likely re-recorded.

The Live Era version is practically flawless compared with the Chicago 1992 version.

Why do the Jap's get extra tracks over the rest of the world. This happens alot with music cd's. It's just so unfair.

They put extra tracks on the Japanese versions of albums because bootlegging is a major problem in Asia.

Instead of having the Japanese public buy bootleg CD's from America, they try and offer the official product with more tracks.

Lol, just hearing people talking about the difficulty of singing this song live, reminds me of a funny moment from the Hartford 93 gig.

They're standing around thinking about what song to play next, when Duff starts playing the opening riff to Coma.

Axl: "Fuck you! Don't even think about it!"

Duff teases Axl by continuing the play the riff.

Axl: "We'll do it if you can sing it"

They played Coma during the show in Greensboro, NC in the summer of 1991.  I was there.  It was great.

Side note: They didn't go on stage that night until 10:00, but they played until 1:30.

That Coma version is sick, but do you guys know how to find the that little "asshole" thing Axl did during the 2002 tour?

e-mail me, I'll send you that

I think that the Chicago 92 version is really good, actually. Much better than Richfield, and I actually prefer it to the album version - more energy. I haven't heard the Live era version.

Interesting note - Coma may not have been played in Chicago if they could have played it in Oklahoma about a week earlier. Becuase at one point during that show Axl says "give me a heartbeat". Which i assume was the cue to start Coma, And nothing happened and Axl looked a bit pissed, i can't remember what he said at that point. But i beleive the next show was Chicago and they played it.

Sorry Izzy, but you didn't really know that? Shocked

Eh? If i knew everything about GNR i wouldn't need to check the site would i? *resists urge to put rolling eyes smilie......must....resist........*

Thanx Fieldsy - i have bootlegs with Coma on already (somewhere) but i'd love a Live era with Coma on - Live era feels kinda incomplete without GNR's best song....

Hmm... November Rain? check, Estranged? check, Welcome To The Jungle? check, You Could Be Mine? check, Nightrain? check. Coma pales in comparison to all of the above.
