If you listen to the drum parts to Chinese Democracy, the constant snare hits at the end of the measures....Slither kinda has the same snare hits, of course its different, but its very possible that Slither's drums were influenced by Chinese Democracy's drums.
man, this is all i got to talk about...its slow in the gnr world

Why?
I wish people would give up the idea that VR somehow trying to out-do Axl and Nu GNR. I seriously doubt Slash and Duff have even heard Chinese Democracy (the song not the album). As Duff has said he cares/knows about as much about what is happenning with Nu Gnr as he does with Iron Maiden, i.e. not much at all.

Intro to slither reminds me a bit of OH MY GOD, only the very begining from then on OH MY GOD murders it.

Hit the nail on the head, why would some bootlegged live recording influence any experienced rock band, especially if it's from a former band mate whom you hate.

First off to relate a song based on a snare sound. I don't hear anything relation from slither, to the 3 versions of CD i have heard.
