If you go back to that site, November has been removed from the date. Now it only shows 2004. Things that make you go Hmmm... It shows first hand that this board is closley monitored.

So basically this dude was just brought in to digitally edit a couple songs right?
Because as we all know, Slash said Axl only recorded vocals on 2 tracks and that he knew that for a fact.
Why don't you shut the fuck up and realize that Slash knows hardly anything about CD?
Wow...
...hey, you want to buy a sense of humor with that helmet?

About the whole slash thing, did any of you ever think that maybe Slash meant axl only has two tracks with vocals that slash played on?

I do believe we will see Chinese Democracy bfore th year is over the rumors seem to betoo strong not to be true.
The only real "rumor' here is the annoucement put out by Vh1 and since propagated by other www sites. The only thing that adds any sizzle is that about a week or so prior to Vh1 airing BTM, we had the Rumourboard, Melodicrock, and Dmoz.org saying something about fall or november.....and, to point out what Mysteron noted in another thread, neither major media wire service (AP or Reuters) picked up the story even after BTM airing...I'm not trying to be a buzzkill, but it's not as strong as we've deluded ourselves into thinking. Doesn't mean it won't happen either. I'm personally hoping Geffen really is trying to grab Axl by the gonads this time to get it out. He's had more than enough time to perfect his 'vision' any more tweaking and fiddling will NOT turn the tide on the critical and fan reation towards this album when/ if it comes out...sadly, b/c of all the delays, Axl has already set a certain contingent of the press/fans against him no matter how good the material might be.

Why do ypu people bother with these sites/stores posting dates of CD? They mean jack shit. Until we get a press release from GNr, nothing is official. Why do you tease and tourture yourselves? Just relax. I know it sux but the only thing you should really believe is what come from GNR. On of these days it will come. ANd it will come in more ways than we can handle.
The VH! thing is something to cautiously look at and see how it develops. If we dont get anything by sept/oct then we are looking at next year. Thats the unfortunate reality. We will probably learn a few new things along the way when Tommy releases the album and goes on tour. He will be doing interviews and stuff so maybe he will say some other stuff.
Otherwise until we get it from GNR consider it garbage.

Everyone,
Please do not e-mail Mr. DeCarli anymore. He said, in a response to me, that he has gotten several dozen e-mails in the last few days. There is no need to be rude and bombard him with e-mails, especially when he is not at liberty to discuss his involvement with GN'R.
Thanks.

I was one of the people that e-mailed Mr. Decarli. I asked him how come it had been so long since he had updated his site and whether or not he could tell me anything regarding the working he's doing with Guns N' Roses.
This was his response:
Thanks for your email.
I'm very sorry, but I make it a policy to not talk about projects until
they
are released. I hope you can understand that it is an issue of security
and
confidentiality for my clients.
If GnR want people to know anything about the album, they will release
the
info (who am I to second-guess them?).
Check back for a web page update within the next month.
Hoping you understand,
Paul "Poly915" DeCarli
PS. How did you find my web page? I've had several dozen GnR inquiries
over
the last few days and was wondering if someone linked me to a larger
GnR
site or search engine.
;D

What do you think I should tell him?

I got the same.....
.... and I apologised on behalf of you all
You pesky kids, I always have to go around clearing up after you
He probably changed the date because of all the e-mails. To be fait I didn't even ask about the date, I just asked if he had started his work on CD/yet to start/finished.
Unfortunately, no cigar. Respect to the position the man's in tho.

Geez....people, I know we're all excited and desperate, but when someone says the have a confidenitality agreement, they ain't gonna break it for some internet fans. I think keeping the heat on management and/or record comapny types is another thing though, let's em' know there's still significant interest in this thing.

I sure hope Axl has all the people working on his album squared away. If not we might all scare anybody else away.

A little update:
I mailed Paul Decardi a few hours ago.
I asked if he could share anything about how it was working with Axl and such.
I was surprised to get a reply but not surprised by the answer: he is contractually bounded to keep his mouth shut.
Nonetheless it was nice to get a reply though...
Yes,I got same answer
