GN'R
is in
Blender
magazine this month (well, August issue actually)! I just got mine today and scanned it 10 minutes after I opened the mail...
Just for you guys! They are in the mag because
Sweet Child O' Mine
was this month featured as
"Greatest Song Ever"
.
Here's two thumbnails, click on them to view the high resolution scans!

Cool
SCOM is such a cool song. Everything about the song is perfection, the Les Paul intro, the words, the song structure. The entire song is worthy of a shrine imo

Some great pictures of the band that i don't think i have seen before - they did so many photo shoots - and now we don't even have ONE picture of the current band......
SCOM is without doubt the greatest song ever written, truly amazing tune - still electrifying even after 14 years of listening to it!
Thank for the scan Will

Great post Will. Thank you. After so many years of a Nirvana-centric music press, it's nice to see Appetite- era GNR rise back to the top of historical heap, where they always belonged. SCOM is the reason I finally gave into GNR in 1988. I hated hair metal and would not listen to GNR until I heard Sweet Child a few times and could not resist it. I truly feel it's a song that competes with the greatest pop/rock songs ever composed... songs like God Only Knows and You Can't Always Get What You Want and With or Without You. There's not a weak moment in SCOM, and what's more, each band member shines individually
and
the band kicks as a unit. This song is the perfect display for GNR's talent and their meaning to the broader (not just rock and GNR fans) music-listening world.

I'm glad you liked it guys!
And apparently you did: over 500 people downloaded these scans in a few hours!
As for SCOM, that's kinda funny because at first I didn't really like it (too slow for me at the time) and then it grew on me and now it's one my favorite GN'R tunes. It really is a great song even though I feel Welcome To The Jungle should have deserved the Greatest Song Ever honor.
Concerning Mike Clink:
[Mike] is currently producing an album for Camp Freddy which features featuring Dave Navarro (of JANE'S ADDICTION) on guitar, Billy Morrison (of THE CULT) on guitar, Matt Sorrum (of The Cult, Guns N' Roses, VELVET REVOLVER) on drums, Donovan Leitch (of NANCY BOY) on vocals, and some very special guest artists.
