Civil War from House of Blues rehearsals!
«

Some guy at the hub gave me the clip.
The original filename was Guns N' Roses - Civil War (House of Blues Rehearsal).mp3
Since the new band has never played civil war live I wonder if this track is fake.
So everybody should listen to the track and we'll se if it's axl's voice and the new band playing:

Its hard to say if its even gnr cause the vocals are so low but near the end of it the "Yeah" does sound like Axl but before that he's pretty sketchy on vocals but its supposed to be rehearsal right? and maybe at the time they hadn't had it down properly to play live (not enough practice?) But even so there is no solo in it (thats where it cuts off) so its hard to determine who the guitarist sound like (Slash, Robin or Bucket). But thats only my opinion. Good find though!!!

That is so blatantly New Axl at the end. Come on! It's a textbook 2000-2002 end of song 'yeeaahh'.
I'm not surprised they didn't do it. He sounds like shit on the chorus as he tries to force a the growl.
What REALLY bothers me was this was 2000 (or 2001?) and it's a reminder of how much his voice has changed again. I've written extensively on here in support of his new vocals on the road but OMG suggested heavily that the album was really meant to be due in 2000 at the latest. But now, four years on, how much might his voice have deteriorated since then? How much longer can he make a reasonable effort on songs he recorded in 1987?

It's not newgnr. The guitar is so like Slash, guess it's some GNR cover band.

Sounds like somebody took part of the old demo/rehearsal version from 1989 (?) and did something with it.

BULLSHIT
the instrumental part is Karaoke. I have the same on my computer. the singer is amateur. Just a guy who tries to sing like Axl.

To reiterate what Axl said in Rio....

the instrumental part is Karaoke.
If by karaoke you mean instrumental, then it's correct.
As far as I know, some tracks from the 1989 sessions were bootlegged and Civil War is one of the songs....

You clearly understand nothing.
Axl's new voice is not deteriorating.
Oh My God had like 7 vocal effects. You didn't know that?

euhhh...don't you know what is karaoke?
Karaoke is Karaoke can't explain it. It's done by professional musicians and then you add your voice on it. It's not the band instrumental at all. karaoke of GN'R can be made by unknown australian or french or spanish or whatever musicians. Do you see what I mean?

I know what karaoke is. I don't think it's a karaoke version, I think it's an instrumental demo.
Here's the song with vocals.Do you think Axl's singing over a karaoke tape?

I didn't know it was a real instrumental demo. I have it without the vocals. I can try to sing it in the futur.
