Not so sure about Ain't It Fun or Get In The Ring tho! Unless your guests and neighbours enjoy songs featuring 'your dad gets more pussy than you' and 'suck my fucking dick'!

well my friend......coming from the dude who is always in control of the tunes at every party i go to.....you defiantly need to play 3 or 4 gnr songs..now depending on the situaiton your in and how drunk  everyone is and what time it is, will determine the feedback from the crowd....... farmers liek every song,.......the in crowd....lieks paradise city, and the true partiers enjoy welcome to the jungle....now as for me i play all of those but all at very differnt points..usually start with wttj..when party is jsut gettin goin.....it gives everyone a chance to scream and then kick back..a few bottles....then about 45 minutes from then a jazzy dance tune.....possibly a sweet child o mine...then as the party is just after its peak and slowly winding down (should be quite awile from the last gnr song)....slap in.......fuckin patience and dance to that mother fucker liek you were axl himself....be confident and very axl like...you will get the attention from the girls you so crave....(that song has led me to many many hook ups........and then as SOON as it is over...............pop in paradise city and get everyone fuckin jumpin again.....i advise greatly, to mix the music very well or you will get fuckheads (mainly peopel who arent gnr fans) to start acting all queer on everything and lookin to start a fight with somebody...and if plaid corectly i guarantee a piece of ass......with a lil work form yourself.i mean come on i cant guarantee a piece of ass to somebody who looks liek fuckin rush limbaugh

Dave_Rose, that is one aggressive playlist!  I would agree with the 1st 4 songs including SCOM.  7-12 are questionable for a crowd that includes some nice, sweet ladies...let's give these gals a little Patience, or November Rain instead.  YCBM is a must-have.  Reckless Life is totally geared toward a "let's get drunk and have some fun" atmosphere too.  Last but not least, if there is no action going on, and it's kind of depressing, throw in Estranged and enjoy!
  Ahh, this brings back memories!  Aside from the Fleet Center show 12-2-02 and Live Era, Axl missed out on my 20-29 year old decade!  Damn, I can't wait until C.D.!  Maybe I can start drinking again!

 Yeah that first post seemed to have too many gn'r songs, unless everyone at the party was a fan like the people on the boards. The UYI albums seemed to be less of an album that your likely to hear at a party, because i think gn'r changed as a band and their content was different. Maybe if you wanted a couple of slow songs you could throw in Don't cry and NR.

Here's what i would play fo sho. actually the whole afd cd is pretty good for parties, depends on what kinda music the people like i guess. Most parties i go to now are mostly hip-hop, and it blows, of course you'll always get your ac/dc and a couple gn'r songs.

Someone played Get in the Ring at the bar the other night.  It was fucking awesome.  There were actually a lot of people that knew the song and were singing it word for word.

If you are having a party and you are playing GNR tunes, you have to play Reckless Life. It will bring your party to the next level. If, anybody really goes crazy (after listening to Reckless life) and passes out or gets really, really drunk... Play Coma then, perfect timing
