If you read the interview you can tell this reviewer actually listen to the album all the way through more then one time. Honest review with song by song breakdowns. Im glad someone takes the time to listen before they judge

Great review, but disagree about FTP. It's a little repetitive and don't have that great outro like SCOM (where do we go?). YGNR, though, is the really true gem of the Contrand.

Why? Because it's a GOOD review? Because it gives CB 5 stars? Or because he misspelled Contraband?

If you read the review ... you'll notice he kept Illegal I, Spectacle and DLT ... Song-by-song review? Perhaps he didn't think those songs were "gems" ....

IMHO, this is a biased review. This reviewer obviously thinks VR are the shit, and hasn't got the balls to say a bad thing... Or just doesn't want to...

He could have started by mentioning that DK's guitars were a tad bit louder than Slash's...

Maybe he did like the album. Personally I think the album is a 4 or maybe 4.5 out of 5. He might just of been excited to hear slash's guitars with decent vocals. I dont think its the only review that matters. But it seems the author atleast listened to the album before he wrote a review

Nope.  Because I rely on KNAC's reviews when I'm on the bubble whether or not to buy a certain cd.

Their reviews have not let me down yet.

5 stars is a bit much, I'd definitely give it 4 stars, maybe even 4.5 stars.

I've been listening to the album pretty much non-stop since I bought it, and while I like some songs better than others, it has yet to bore me. It hasn't left my car stereo yet either.

I've gotten to the point too, where if other people don't like the album and say it's shit, I don't care, cause I fucking love it.
