How do I play this? How is it possible to "jump" over a string with the pick, if you know what I mean?

Put your index (1st) finger on the lowest E string second fret, then do the rest as it makes sense to you, make sure that your index finger mutes the A string so it doesn't sound when it's played and just play it Smiley

Hope that helped

You could also play the bottom F# with you thumb and mute the A string with your thumb as well.

Some people just don't know how to ride a bike

Another alternative is to use some hybrid picking. Pick the f# with your pick and the other notes with your remaining fingers. You'll need some nails though and it takes a while to get the volume from each equal.

But from looking at that chord by any chance are you learning AC/DC's highway to hell? If so just mute the damn A string it makes a better sound.

Yes it is from AC/DC's Higway To Hell.  Smiley
But I'm no learning that. It was just an example. I took it from a tab-book.
