Have you heard/bought any STP albums?

Yeah, I had their first three records way back in the day.  Not sure whatever happened to them.  I've lost more CD's over the years than I can count.  I kind of lost interest in them in the late '90s, and I'm sorry that I ever did.  I'm planning on picking up "Core" again, that was always my favorite STP record.  "Dead and Bloated," "Sex Type Thing," "Where the River Flows," just so many good songs on there.  I remember way back in '92 or '93 seeing the "Sex Type Thing" video for the first time and thinking that this must be the coolest rock band on the planet.  Not everything they did blew me away after that, which is probably why I lost interest in them.  I really wasn't interested in hearing "Number 4" at the time of its release, but I might check that out since a lot of STP fans say that it's their best record.  I've gained a whole new appreciation for that group after hearing Velvet Revolver, although I do believe VR are a far superior band.
