Duff
Izzy
Gilby

Those guys could take turns on the songs in wich they played....like Matt would do more UYI stuff and Steve would do AFD stuff....Gilby and Izzy would take turns as well but less than Matt and Steve as Izzy played on all the albums except TSI!?.

1) thing is... if he didnt "need" the money how come he couldnt get enough money for a working tour bus on his US tour.

2) Talking about how Europe and its fans are so much better then the US. Thats only because GnR hasn't played all the countries over there, like all them little clubs steven plays in. Europe loves the older rock scene and Steve is living on the AFD success.

3) Like many people said no one asked Steven to JOin, no one would ever ask him to join. Axl wouldnt be part of the New GnR is Addler was around. I think when he got rid of Addler in 1990 all bridges were burned. I think Axl would Take Brain anyday and if not someone like Josh Freese.

4) People can rip on Axl all they want for playing the old songs. But atleast Axl has some new original songs (which kick ass) that he plays. Steven runs down the whole AFD album and then throws in an ACDC song. Afterall didnt Steven say he contributed alot to the writing of GnR songs, he can't write any new songs in the last 15 years?

Steven at one time, was in the biggest band in the world. I havent seen you be anywhere near as successful. He aint that much of a joke then ha? He is also writing music with his band for their upcoming album and will also appear on a record with Izzy. He hasnt written any new songs because he was no longer part of the business cause he was a junkie. But he managed to clean himself up. Good for him.

The problem with an Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy, Matt line-up is that it's not a "re-union" at all because to the best of my knowledge they never performed together without Dizzy so what exactly would we be "re-visiting" with that line-up? Dizzy would have to be there too and then you could have a reunion of the Get in the Ring Tour/UYI recording line-up. But that was such a small segment of the UYI tour... So, I submit there are only two suitable GN'R reunion line-ups. Either go all the way (Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steven) or to the UYI/TSI era (Axl, Slash, Duff, Matt, Dizzy and Gilby). Either of those two line-up would generate the type of nostalgic buzz fans would be looking for because they both have incredible history backing them up.

As GNR fans some people on this board truly baffle me. Why is everybody running Steven down what the hell has he ever done to anybody. Steven was a great drummer (ask Izzy). Matt sucked and had a perm. I have met Steven and he was really cool and friendly.

As for a re-union whilst I would never say never but the line up for me would have to be:

Slash
Duff
Izzy
Steven
Dizzy
and me. Although I would only be a luxury player like aspecial guest (sorry dreams are just that)

Liked?  I highly doubt it.  He was an addict, a man who was so stoned out of mind that he did do anything to obtain drugs.  It's sad, it's deplorable, but it's understandable to those who don't jump on the "Let's hate Steven just because he was once an addict" train, and/or the "Let's hate Steven because he doesn't speak highly of Axl Rose" bandwagon.
