i just found out that my skool is having this program after school where we get to make our own guitars. yes, i no it sounds retarded but wut the hell, who cares. the problem is is that we have to buy our own equipment for the guitar like the pickups and crap. so im wondering wut equipment i should get. like what works good with what and that stuff. i want a nice biting tone for the guitar so ya. i dont wanna spend any more than about $1000 bucks canadian ($700-800 american) so there is a price limit. please help

That's cool man.  I wish I went to your school...

Do you have to buy your own wood?  And do you know what type of gutiar you're gonna make?  There's a lot of stuff on the net about this kinda thing, and I could suggest some stuff it you gimme a little more info. ok
