Tommy is probably my fave from the new band (apart from King Axl)..

He rocks on stage! Looks lively and shows the crowd what a great time he's having and how much he is into it! He rocks at RIR3!

Jesus... wasn't the band supposed to "get back together" LAST fall!?!?

I always used to think that the making of CD would make for one hell of a book... but now I'm beginning to reconsider. Too repetitive and boring.

It would make a great saga. It would be like STAR WARS.

Episode 4 "A New hope" could be about replacing Slash.

Episode 5 "Empire Strikes Back" Could be about the rebuilding of GnR

Epsiode 6 "Return of the Jedi" return of Axl in 2002.

Then they could go back and do the first 3 chapters. THE AFD era, THE UYI ERA, then just like George Lucas they could wrap up in the 3 chapter what went wrong in 94

Just found this on MTV. com

"Two years after debuting at the 2002 Bonnaroo festival, Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains, featuring Primus bassist Les Claypool, Guns N' Roses drummer Brian "Brain" Mantia, Parliament/Funkadelic keyboardist Bernie Worrell, and former GN'R guitarist Buckethead, are preparing to release their debut album, The Big Eyeball in the Sky, September 7. The group is planning a tour for October"

Earliest time for gnr activity will be October. That is what the band members have been told.

I'm assuming 'gnr activity' means the activity by the actual members of gnr...

What I mean is, am I correct in thinking that this does not rule out any other gnr happenings/announcements/behind the scenes happenings, etc....

Not that I'm asking for confirmation of any plans...

just whether 'earliest time for gnr activity will be in October' you meant specifically/only just the guys won't be together until then at the earliest..?

Thanks.. hope I'm not being a pest  Grin

edited to add some Tommy luv! hehe

Of course. And the Figgs (although I prefer the Gentlemen myself. Check out mp3's if you get a chance. Jake Brennan links the two bands)

I'll try my best but I am kinda busy at the moment, so do keep one eye on Pollstar as well

The venues will bear a similarity to last year (Uptown etc.. ) but they are still yet to be confirmed
