Axl Rose is producing CD: Cd almost ready !

Who cares if Axl is producing the album or whatever,it's not like he doesn't have anyone else helping him with it.Anyway,I am sure CD will be great.Also Axl never had a great vision of what he wanted the music to sound like,if he did CD would have already been out.

How can u say that Axl never had a great vision of what the music should sound like. Obviously he knows what he wants if he's firing people in the producer's chair. He's had a bunch of different producers and most of them he fired b/c he wasnt getting the sound he wanted. Thats why he is now producing it himself b/c he knows what he wants, nobody else did.

Hmmm... Can you explain me why the hell it is a bad thing? I think it's cool, Axl is the only one who knows what exactly this album should sound. If he can make really good music, why he can't producing? ?

Because a producer is not a band member, he can have different aspections and as a 'half insider, half outsider' sees the things and the whole recording process from a highe point. I don't remember any good album produced by only bandmembers.

You really should remember all the Led Zep albums, considering how amazing they are

Vinnie Paul could never get any producer to get it right, so he sorted it out n' look what happend, the best fuckin' sound ever. He's the drummer from PANTERA by the way.He produces evry album.
