Please forgive me for being stupid (it comes with being 15), but I have a question.

First thing this morning, I went to the store to buy Contraband. But now, hours later, I checked the receipt, and noticed that I wasn't charged for the CD. I just want to know if it affects the band any? Because if so, I'm going to go back there and pay for it (oh, and to be honest as well). I think it would, because it's the same as stealing. I'm 99% sure that I just ripped off the band of one CD, and now I don't feel so great about having it...

fuck that shit... dont take it back... your giving only a few cents of that CD to the band and alot of it to the record company, pressing factory, taxes...

The record store knows how many units they ordered and how fast they are all gone... and when to order more copys... they order them in bulk...

Im sure the employees and thier discounts dont feel guilty....

If you still feel guilty go to a show and pay them back that way or order some of thier merch....

Im sure if you told the members that you didnt get charged they would say you got lucky....

I'm reporting you to the RIAA..you've just stolen music WITHOUT THE INTERNET at that.    But to say a similar story i bought a few things at walmart once including a cd writer and a bunch of other stuff that came no where near the price.....i wasn't thinking and the guy tells me my total is like 50 bucks and i'm like hmm so i just paid and left.......he must have tried to scan it and missed the thing or something but he did get the security thing thank god or i would have looked like i stole it.

I wouldn't say I'm eaten up over it. I honestly don't give a fuck about the store's money or anyone else's money for that matter because they scanned the fucker and checked the receipt at the door and if they didn't realize it then that's their own problem. I just felt as if I was stealing from the band and that it doesn't count as a sell for them, but you're right, I can make it up in another way.

If it affects the record co.: Nah...they'll make it up with all the 14 yr olds they plan on suing later this year.

If it was a large corporate store it affected: they probably worm out of paying most of their share of federal tax anyway.....so fuck 'em.
