They were talking about VR on my local station today, saying that it was tomorrow that the album was going to be released. They talked about the members and their checkered history, and how excited they were about the album. They briefly mentioned the Letterman performance.
Then they spent a few minutes marvelling over the name
Velvet Revolver. Here's the interesting fact about VR: Apparently, the name contains more uses of the letter
V than any other band name in existence (VR's name has four Vs in it). They brought that up and I couldn't think of any other band which bested them in that respect.
Not much "news" so to speak, but I felt it was worth sharing. I'm willing to be VR will get some airplay on that station, given their attitude towards them.
