Buy Contraband at Best Buy

No I don't work for best buy. I am from a middle sized city with a few good records stores, a few big music stores and many electronic stores who sell cds. Around the country people say they pay $15-$19 a cd. Which is crazy I always go to Best Buy for cds. They are cheaper there then anywhere else.  Like the first week a cd comes out its even cheaper. I got GNR Greatest Hits for $7.99 the week it came out at Best Buy. I more stores charged a reasonable rate for cds. Like Best Buy we wouldnt have people stealing cds. CD's shouldnt cost more then around $10-12. they cost less then a $1 to make.

The only reason they are cheaper at Best Buy is because they are hoping you'll buy some other expensive equipment there also.  Lots of places do the same thing, CDs are their "loss leaders".  Circuit City does this also, sometimes they haver cheaper prices than Best Buy.  I love both places.
