Remember like a year and a half ago when this was just a bit of an idea? They didn't have a singer, there was no conception of how the band would come together, and now we have releases, and a full blown album about to come out.

It's amazing, I would have never thought that this would happen back then.

Why not?

It became pretty obvious that this band was their main priority in the summer of 2002.

The amazing thing is that the album has basically been done for over five months before its release. Especially when you consider the fact that the line up has existed for about a year.

they certainly do have their ass in gear. i just wish they didn't pick Velvet Revolver as their band name.  Cry I liked Reloaded a lot. Fuck me, even "the project" sounds better.
Whatever, they still rock but that is the one thing that bugs.

A Reloaded chant wouldn't sound as good as a VR, VR, VR chant

Agree about the chant, although Velvet Revolver is just too much of a play on GNR for my tastes...It makes the inevitable comparisons in all of these reviews more feasible...

Yeah, but to be fair, the name VR sucks. I like the Project. It kinda reminded me of something mysterious, dark, shocking...

I don't like Reloaded too much either. For obvious reasons, it reminds me of Metallica's worst album.

I'm kinda used to VR nowadays. Still lame, but I'm familiar with it now.

Yeah reloaded was a bad Metillica album and when I heard that rumor I thought it was just a joke. If you want to be named Reloaded you should be a Metillica cover band.

Slash is the King

Well Slash, Duff and Matt lived up to their word that this was gonna be serious a project and it's been done in around 2 years and around 1 with their singer. If they decide for more albums we'll prolly have album every 2 years ok

 Huh

"Reloaded" isn't?

This band is terrible with names, but Velvet Revolver's Contraband is better than Reloaded's Uppers & Downers.
