But I couldn't relate to that shit if I tried. For a professional musician, this is embarrassing. Did Scott Weiland write that? I wouldn't be surprised! When I read that crap, I know why I prefer Axl's lyrics.

i thought we were.  
But seriously, the lyrics don't compare with Axl's, but that's okay. Most lyrics don't compare to Axl's, he's a wonderful lyricist. It's good enough. I like Scott's lyrics enough, but i think he is best when he sticks to harder themes or more obscure and symbolic themes, rather than emotional stuff (also because that is definitely Axl's strong suit).

Suckertrain Blues would actually be a great single. 99% of the peoplke think it kicks ass.  Anyway, Scott said that FTP is most likely going to be their next single which I don't really care for.  I haven't really heard a good version and don't even remember it at the show. But from what I have heard it didnt really grab me. I'll let you know when i get the CD. I can tell you that the 2 ballads that blow me away are "Loving the Alien" and "You Got No Right." Those would be my choice for a ballad single.

FTP is the next single and although I like LTA & YGNR better, STP has that Slash hook which will translate to radio beautifully!
