I Am Inconquerable

« on: May 26, 2004, 04:33:56 PM »

I was watching an old video called MTV Live And Loud 1992 featuring Guns N' Metallica for their World Tour and I noticed Dizzy mentioned that Teddy Zig Zag played harmonica but most importantly keyboards as well. So I guess GN'R have always had two guys on keys and Chris does have a purpose and dosen't pretend to play hihi

I'm a fan of Pittman's, and that's something that's always bothered me. People seem to forget that Teddy Zig-Zag toured with the band, and was even in some videos. I guess they don't care, as long as Slash was there...  Roll Eyes

Ok, that last thing surprised me:
Really pitman isn?t even pluged???I may have swallowed the joke cause I have never seen much pictures of him live.......I would shoot myself if a Gn?R member didn?t even pretend to playing

We're just going on what one of his friends said - he was asked what Chris did in the band and he said he played keyboards that weren't plugged in Tongue

I love the way people here have taken the crappy situation concering GNR in a positive way, constantly being able to make jokes out of it n' stuff... I think it's really cool.

Further to the whole "Pittmans not plugged in thing" i have to think that there is some truth to it.

I innitially thought this when i first say the Rio video, during the sound sample part of Madagascar Pittman picks up the sampler, supposedly to cut the speech parts in, but i'm pretty sure that, from using samplers and being involved with electronic music myself, that his isn't 'playing' the samples live, or puching them in as the band are playing.  The entire segment is pre-recorded and he is in fact pretending that he's playing it live.  Quite why he would do this i don't know...

Perhaps in the studio but maybe there just isn't a role in a live setting and he just comes along for the experience

(judging from the inactivity in the GNR world maybe its the only time they ever all meet up, hell maybe Axl's band introductions are for the bands benefit too ''and you are?''

Re: Pittmans keyboards not being plugged in!

Look at the bootleg DVDs from 02.. the keyboards are wobbling around like a novelty prop or something!

What was the story with those?!?!?!

He does look kinda gay at RIR3!

I was watching Boston 02 screenshot version last night.. and there was a great clear close up when Axl was introducing the band! If nobody else does, ill put it up when I get home from wk.

He had long brown scruffy hair.
