Have GN'R used double bass in any of their songs? I think the drum roll in PC (before the end fast part) is double bass... Comments?

I am pretty sure Matt had a double bass peddle I think he used it during his drum solo in Tokyo.I think You Could Be Mine had some double bass but don't quote me on that

matt uses double bass pedal in Neurotic Outsiders and the Cult (not quite sure in the latter one) and it rocks! it lifts the music so damned much!

i hope he uses it alot in VR! Cheesy

I disagree.. I don't think it should be used all that much. It can give the song a good lift at some points, but overuse it and it becomes flat. I actually think that half timing can sometimes be much better than double timing.

i didnt mean like the black and death and other metal bands use it... i meant like in a intro, outro or in the brigde.. IF that part is really strong and kinda fast, a double drumm thingie would mean the world to it. in my eyes.

he uses it alot live actualy, in the outros when he is banging everything insigth :p

yeah I agree 100%, like Matts Illusion tour solo, completely flat!
my opinion is that half timing usually is better than double timing!
