i was wondering if people here think that Velvet Revolver is playing "i used to love her " because of Axl Rose ... making fun of him.....

AXL being the "her" in the song ....
cause why would VR play THIS particular song, you know ...... ?? ?? ?? ? ? ?  ?  ? ? ? ?  ?

'Cause songs like Used To Love Her n' Mr. Brownstone are the only songs Weilend can sing to, they cant just particaly pick any song from GNR.

well they play GNR and STP songs to acknowledge their past success and bring in old fans as well as to very their sets, now weiland does not have the pipes Axl does so that is why you see him doing songs more in his vocal range like Used to Love her and Its So easy, so I dont think its to make fun of axl

I love the song..

Its a long I enjoy listening to whether its performed totally accoustic, I love the performances they did when they brought out the big yellow couch during the Skin N Bones 93 leg of the UYI tour, and I also enjoy covers of the song.

Suits Scott's vocals well.

I often think and relate to the song.. not killing a girl I hate and burying her in the backyard!! But more in the sense that I used to love her.. and now im killing her out of my mind.. but I can still her complain when I think about her..
