We've heard various classic rock and heavy metal influences in Guns N' Roses previous efforts (Aerosmith, Led Zepplin, The Stones, Queen, etc.). What new influences will we hear on Chinese Democracy that we haven't heard echos of in G N'R before?

I think that's a great question.  If I recall correctly, it's a topic that Axl Rose addressed to an extent in his 1999 intereview with Kurt Loder.  I'd like to hear what he says about it now.  I think it's a reasonable question that isn't too invasive.

It doesn't take 2 weeks to reply - clearly he has no intention to, that man must be sick in the head if he can't be bothered to spend 5 mins addressing the people who pay for his mortgage.

When I saw the final 10 questions I thought that Axl must be really insane if we don't dare to ask him real questions, only these semi(pseudo?) ones. And on the other hand if he's not insane (and there is a chance), he must go mad seeing that his hc fans think he's totally out of mind and can't be bothered with real questions. Take the first or the second possibility, he won't answer.

well, that time when MYSTERON decided to help us, he just said that those 10 questions were "fine" and that he could send to Merck and see whats happen... but he sent and did not warn us ... so we keep on talking about wich questions we?ll send  for the next 15 pages without knowing that he already sent them!

and we elaborate a little more, like this:

1) How are you and the boys?

2) What new music are you currently listening to and what was the last CD you bought?

3) What's the BEST and the worst song you?ve herad in the last ten years? wich band makes you think "wow, this iscool" ?

4) Of all contemporary singers, rock, pop, even country, who is the one you'd like to duet with?

5) What do you think of your bandmembers solo music and have you been to any of their shows?

6) What's the thing you enjoy the most doing during the day?

7) Has your impression of the internet changed over the past few years or do you still consider it a garbage can? because is the only thing that make the GNR fans all over the world united day after day waiting for some news after your interview to Kurt Lorder ( I don?t remember the date, please someone put the date here ) and after the band Played in VMA?S... ?

 Over the years, many different people have had different opinions of you. Other than the press, what are your feelings on people? When people try desperatley to get a letter to you, does it bother you or does it make you feel good that people care so much?

9) What makes you laugh?

10) What are your wishes for the future, and do you have any information or comments you would like to share with your fans? Can you tell us something about the new record?

MYSTERON, IF you talk to Merck or IF you can help us just a little more, not take advantage of your "power"  , maybe you can send him THESE questions... ? ... or just trying to get some feedback of Axl?s manager... ? maybe Merck could just tell you what Axl though about it... like : AXL: "Hey Merck, I received your email... explain me just a little more about this ..." ...

sorry, I don?t want to be a pain in the ass... I just think that we could have some news with this way...

My bad I wasn't clear there...I don't think any of these bands are concidered heavy metal (or should be). I was referring to their Classic Rock influences with my examples.
