Great! Who's left now ? Richard Fortus? GNR roadies? GNR groupies? Beta? Earl?

Maybe even GNR management gets tired of waiting and releases a solo album as well.... hihi

Dizzy planned to release a solo album more than a decade ago, didn't he? I remember Slash talking about his contribution on the album, which he described as a 'great record with a lot of acoustic stuff'. Wonder how sounds like now.

Sorry if i mis spoke or anyone misunderstood... but heres the quote....

Cool, are you playing any original tunes this time around?

I think we will be. The plan is to go into the studio soon. I don?t think we will have it finished by the time we play the East Coast though. But our goal is to have it finished by summer.

This could be a good or bad thing since it means Dizzy is not working Chinese Democracy this year....

hes been touring alot on his own since Jan and now hes going to try to have his own album done by the Summer.

Dizzy has been done with his stuff on CD forever so it is neither a good nor bad thing. The band members have all said they have been done with their stuff for the better part of 2 years. That means that Axl is basically taking his sweet old time with this as he is the only one holding this up at this point. I can't in my wildest dreams imagine how it takes the better part of 2-3 years to lay down vocals....I mean he doesn't even have an instrument to play. Maybe we'll see it in like 2007 when he's 45 and over the hill.  nervous

but i still think Dizzy Reed will be involved till the end of this CD... more so than the other members... I think we could see Dizzy Reed pull some Asst Producer duties on some of the songs.. him and Axl.... and some input on the final mixing of the songs.....

It's time to accept that CD is Axl's baby and Axl's alone (not that many of you already haven't)...we may see it,we may never...the least we can do is support the hired guns in their solo efforts Wink

My thoughts...

just because the members have finished their work doesn't mean Axl is recording the vocals. He could be messing with other things in the album.

But in my opinion he's not messing with the album... it's done, finished. The details that need working out could be other things, like legal work, etc.
