It looks like Scott's pissy....again...

From the VR Official site.

From Scott To Andy Langer  5/9/2004
Dearest Andy Langer,

I would love the opportunity to speak to you further, you fucking kiss-ass pussy sycophant bitch. Do you make common practice of licking the assholes of rock stars, only to walk away to a safe distance? Wait till a man's back is turned then print a headline like that? Do you? Well, you know what half-man? My studio is in Burbank, the same place where you met me, interviewed me, and kissed my ass, you fucking worthless piece of journalist shit. Five days a week! I'll be there bitch! No more interviews, you're all a bunch of fucking kiss-ass pussy turncoats.

PS: Oh, by the way, you wanna know about fucking drugs? Fucking try them yourself!

Scott seems pissed at the Revolver article....

Velvet Revolver The Ego Has Landed
They're clean, sober, and ready to rock. So of curse former GN'R members Slash, Duff, and Matt Sorum picked the biggest fuckup of them all to front their new band: ex-Stone Temple Pilot Scott Weiland.

Good God man.  Maybe Scott should smoke some weed (ok, maybe not the best idea).  But he is high strung as shit right now.  If nothing else, this "energy" should make for a good show on this leg of the tour.

How old is that guy?

Can't take criticism, compares censorship with the Nazis... that is childish.

If he goes on like that, this band will be laughed out even before they released an album.

Well Weiland is demonstrating that he at least has some balls. Unfortunately, he's making himself out to look a little rediculous.

At least if his attacks on the press were well spoken and calculated (like Brian May's response to Axl hating), then he'd have more credibility. Right now, however, he just sounds like a cornered junky.

I like it. I think it makes this thing more fun  Cool

What I really like about it is that reporters print bullshit about people all the time and the artists never really say anything, at least Scott is replying to them and stuff. I think its kinda cool. I guess its just not as mature as something like the Get in the Ring rant for some people...

He's at it again?

It just sounds forced....like he's trying to be someone else......

I don't think u can be a junkie then complain when people call u a junkie....its hardly as if they are lyring - or even exaggerating, this is after all the man that changes rehab centre's faster than GNR changes guitarists......

Did Weiland lash out at the media like this before, back when he was in STP, or is this his new kick, since the VR buildup...?

I think it probably has something to do with the fact that he isn't on drugs. Most people go crazy for at least a while when they go straight.

Either way, he sounds like someone I wouldn't fuck with... However he looks like you could snap him in half. So whatever...

Ya, he's got a history of this kind of goofiness.

After one of his many times falling off the wagon, (I believe
regarding the cancelation of his 12 Bar Blues solo tour) he went on KROQ with Courtney Love ranting and raving, whacked out of his mind..

Thank God I'm seeing VR early on within the tour....

I would be very pissed off if I allowed the interviewer to interview me and i was nice to him and answered all his question with good polite answers. Then all of a sudden the article comes out and contains a back-stabbing Title!! I would be furious and would never want to do an interview again!!

Which in this case I can't blame Axl for not liking to give interviews.

You can't blame Axl because the same thing happened to Scott 10-15 years later?  Huh

Maybe Scott should pick the journalists who do the interviews?

Your words fill me with unease...

However, I'm holding out for a hero.  Even if he likes wearing tight silver pants  Grin

If the interviewer was playing nice with him and then went and published that kind of article, I think I would be pissed as well!

But isnt that how this business is?  You gotta take the good with the bad.

I'm sure (at least, I hope) that once the album is released and VR has had a chance to make their mark, people will give Weiland some more respect.

Yep, when you're a public figure, especially one with as checkered a past as Scott's, you're going to get some of this kind of treatment, deserved or not.  For me personally, I think it comes with the territory.

Scott's best retort would be to stay clean, complete the tour
and make an effort to lead a drug free life.

To me, that's more of an "in your face" to the journalist than any post on a website.

If you want 'em to shut up, prove 'em wrong.

Scott needs to chill out.  For someone who looks like he weighs a buck-20 he's threatening to kick a lot of asses.  I thought Slash &Co. wanted a change from this type of stuff?  Oh well.
Does he really think people aren't going to talk about his drug abuse?  Or the GNR related puns and comparisons?  He'll be back on dope before we know it.
I the "Making Of the Video" he seemed to take him self WAY too seriously.  "It's performance art....blahblah blah"

It's lame.  I used to cringe when Axl did this, now Weiland is flipping out because someone writes a mostly complimentary review or article and mentions the truth of his troubled past?  At least Axl has crazy as an excuse, what's Weiland's excuse?  It seems like he's trying real hard.

And it doesn't seem like healthy or appropriate behavior for someone who is in recovery.  If indeed, he is still clean.
